Prof. Gradimir Misevic from the University of Geneva of Switzerland was invited to work as

Chief Scientist in LIBO Medicine

LIBO Medicine is very pleased to announce that, on June 7, 2017, Professor Gradimir Misevic was specially invited to take up appointment as Chief Scientist in LIBO Medicine, after becoming a member of the 1st of APJBG Editorial Board.

Prof. Misevic has a distinguished background, having conducted research in the Laboratory of Bioenergetics/Microbiology, University of Geneva, Switzerland and Department of Informatics, University of Brest, France.

Prof. Misevic obtained his Ph.D in Biochemistry at the University of Basel, Switzerland in 1982 and qualified in 2000 as a 1st grade Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in France.  His research mainly focuses on biochemistry, molecular biology, immunology, nano science and technology, information science. Most notable is his research of molecular self-assembly related to cellular adhesion and self/non self-recognition development, construction of novel nano-bio devices and single cell omics single molecule quantification.

 Prof. Misevic was also the co-director and creator of the first European Ph.D School for “Nanoanalysis using focused ion and electron beams” in Luxembourg, funded by the FP6 Framework program Network of Excellence.

LIBO Medicine is facilitating the work of Prof. Gradimir Misevic by establishing the "Gradimir N. Misevic Laboratory" to engage in the research & development of blood group reagents, scientific research, and personnel training of LIBO Medicine.
